Best Tobogganing Hills in Brampton

Sometimes it’s easy to forget what a beautiful season winter really is. We get caught up in the shivering, the slushy streets, the grey days and come to dread the winter months. But when you’re walking on a quiet snow-covered street, skating on an ice rink as slick as glass, or knee-deep in freshly fallen snow, helping your kids make a snowman, you’re reminded of how much fun the season can actually be. Last time we highlighted some great spots in the GTA to go skating, so today we’ll give you the inside scoop on another winter activity and where you can do it in Brampton: tobogganing!

Where to Go Skating in the GTA

The winter season drums up a mixed bag of opinions. Some people love those frosty days, while others (literally) hide from them. The best way to approach winter and its below freezing temperatures is to just embrace it! Bundle up, get outside, and partake in all the fun winter activities the season has to offer. Whether you’re making snow angels, skiing on the slopes, or hunting down a warm and tasty hot chocolate, joining in the winter fun some way or another will make the time fly by. Another great winter activity, and probably one of Canada’s most beloved is ice skating! There are lots of great spots throughout the GTA to dust off your skates and hit the rink, but these are some of our favourites.

Holiday Place Setting Inspiration

When choosing decor for your holiday party you can go one of two ways. You can choose traditional accents, or try something totally new – it just depends what aesthetic and vibe you’re going for this year. Both are great in their own way. Traditional holiday decor is obviously classic, you can’t really go wrong. However, modern or quirky decor is a lot of fun and will mix things up. You’ll have to choose traditional vs. new for all aspects of your holiday decor from the tree to the wrapping to the table settings. To give you a head start we’ve put together a collection of lots of different holiday place settings to inspire you.

Sweet treats, nice necessities, and quirky or luxe little extras. They may not be the biggest gifts you receive on Christmas (unless a diamond ring is hidden amongst the socks), but they’re definitely a lot of fun to open!
