Trend forecasters are already making their predictions for the coming year’s hottest style, and it’s possible you’ve never heard of it! That’s okay, neither had we. Does Wabi-sabi ring a bell? If not, we did some research to better understand this Japanese style of decor. The Wabi-sabi design philosophy is centred on the beauty of the imperfect. Think organic materials, flawed woods, hand-crafted, wrinkled linen, and ceramics. The trend is reminiscent of minimalism, but less pristine. In fact, it’s even a little messy.
