If you’re hoping to spruce up your new Whitby Meadows home with the latest trends in home decor look no further than Penney & Company. Owned by well-known decorator, Michael Penney, you’ll definitely fall in love with at least one of these beautifully curated pieces. If all the shopping has you tuckered out, you’ll be able to refuel at one of Whitby’s great purveyors of good eats. Your first must-visit? The Lil Organic Kitchen. Their organic and local fare is as delicious as their name is cute! Another local favourite is Harvest. Found in the popular little corner of Whitby, Harvest offers some of the best Canadian-inspired food from some of the best regional suppliers.

To immerse yourself in the world of art, you have to visit Station Gallery. Here you’ll find a program filled with events, exhibitions, and opportunities to learn more about the art world. Another beloved Whitby institution is the Whitby Courthouse Theatre. This award-winning theatre and troupe of actors puts on wonderful displays of theatrics year round. Lovers of music will have lots to enjoy in Whitby, from summer’s Music in the Park performances to special shows put on by the Whitby Brass Band – a community of musicians that has been around since 1863.
