Brampton is a city on the go. There\u2019s constantly talk\u00a0about new things coming the city\u2019s way. Whether it\u2019s temporarily awesome, like a concert, art exhibition, or stage performance, or something more permanent like improved transit or a new neighbourhood, there\u2019s always something to get excited about. We\u2019ve already done a post<\/a> highlighting all the amazing developments headed Brampton\u2019s way over the next couple of years, but with all the new growth headed to the city, we thought we\u2019d continue the conversation. Ryerson Campus<\/h3>\n

In case you missed the big news, Ryerson University is going to be launching a campus in Brampton. The location and funding has been confirmed! The project is receiving $90 million in funding and will break ground in downtown Brampton, at the southeast corner of Church Street West and Mill Street North. Students and city dwellers alike can expect a Fall 2022 opening date. <\/span>Here\u2019s<\/span><\/a> everything you need to know. <\/span><\/p>\n

Electric Buses<\/h3>\n

While these buses were originally promised for 2018, you can expect to see them in Brampton by spring of 2019. The City of Brampton and York Region has teamed up with the provincial government to fund the addition of 14 electric buses and four charging stations across both regions. This is part of a national trial to include more sustainable technologies in\u00a0the country\u2019s transportation plan. Read more about it <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entertainment Facility<\/h3>\n

Those who love the 90\u2019s are going to overwhelmed with joy when they hear about the massive roller skating rink and entertainment facility that\u2019s coming to Brampton in the coming months. So far all we know is that the <\/span>RollerPlex<\/span><\/a> will be found in the Bramalea area, and will include a 90s inspired roller skating rink, as well as simulations, karaoke, and party rooms.<\/span><\/p>\n
