Welcome Summer 2016! The sun is out, flip flops are back on, and everyone is spending as much time as they can outdoors! Summer is in full swing and if you live in a Paradise Development community, you may already know that there are a ton of things to do right in your own neighbourhood! <\/span><\/p>\n

One of the best things about Summer? One word: Barbeques. Come join <\/span>Whitby\u2019s Ribfest<\/span><\/a> where you can try all different kinds of flavours of ribs, listen to the live music, and hangout with friends and family. This year it takes place on Friday, July 9th until Sunday the 11th. If you\u2019re up for a challenge, there will also be a <\/span>Rib Eating Contest<\/span><\/a>, and the winner will receive $500! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another event you should check out in Whitby this summer is Music in the Park, which will take place every Wednesday evening. Here you can check out local musicians in Rotary Centennial Park, some of which include: The Bristols, The Aristocrats, and September Sky. You can also catch Music in the Park in Brooklin at Grass Park!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s now less than a month until Canada Day! Celebrate our beautiful country with us at <\/span>Kleinburg Village<\/span><\/a>, where they will be live music, a charity Kleinburger BBQ, and also face painting. The event will run from 1:30 to 4:30 that day. Did you know? The Canada Day in Kleinburg Village event originally started in 2002, and now more than 3000 people attend today. Pretty cool!<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re living in either CityTowns or Upper Mount Pleasant in Brampton, you need to check out <\/span>CeleBRAMPTON<\/span><\/a> on June 11th. You can listen to the live entertainment provided by radio station Z103.5, while eating all the goods from the BBQ. Partly why everybody loves CeleBRAMPTON is for the BMX Stunt Zone too. So if you are feeling brave, get yourself in line fast! Another bonus of this event: free cupcakes. See you there!<\/span><\/p>\n
