Paradise Developments has been a family-run company since 1971. We’re a caring team and love finding opportunities to give back to our community in any way we can. One way we give back has become a yearly holiday tradition – the Children’s Holiday Party at Princess Margaret Hospital! This is just one way to give back to our community over the holidays, and a great opportunity to put a smile on children and families’ faces who need it most! Here are all the details!

For the past 6 years we’ve been sponsoring the Children’s Holiday Party hosted by the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The group puts on this yearly (and very special) holiday party for the children who are being cared for in the Princess Margaret’s Magic Castle. The Magic Castle is an amazing child-care service that parents who have doctor’s appointments or are receiving treatment at the cancer centre can make use of. And it’s free! Children who themselves are cancer patients and receiving radiation treatments at the cancer centre are also invited to participate in this special afternoon!

Last year 50 children attended and were all able to meet Santa! Mr. Claus stopped by the party on the Princess Margaret’s 7th floor and gave each and every child a gift! The children were able to dance around to festive music, have their faces painted, enjoy in a tasty lunch (cookies and snacks included, of course), and take part in some fun holiday crafts.

The Magic Castle is an amazing service that provides parents child-care services completely free, all thanks to generous donors to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. This annual event is a great reminder of all the good work the cancer centre does for children and families, and gives them a chance to enjoy the holidays together despite their hardships.

This year’s event will take place Tuesday, December 13th on the 7th Floor of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The festivities will happen from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Be sure to RSVP to Kat Aptekar by December 7th via phone (416.946.2066) or email ( You can donate to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation here!
