It’s hard to believe we’re already a month into 2015 – but time flies when you’re busy, and at Paradise, we always have a ton on the go. From finding new sites to create communities to putting the finishing touches on our existing projects, and making progress on everything in between, we’ve been hard at work. Here’s an update on our current projects – plus, we’re having inventory sales on a bunch of our communities!
It’s been over a month since we updated you on the progress we’re making on Impressions in the Village of Kleinburg – for the first update, click here. Impressions is a sprawling community of detached, semi-detatched, and townhomes. We love Kleinburg because of it’s small-town charm and proximity to both the serenity of nature and the modern convenience homebuyers should expect.
The New U is our community in historic Upper Unionville. Inspired by the picturesque setting, these homes have all the space that progressive design lets us build, plus huge windows to enjoy the views on every floor. We’re so excited to be part of the next chapter of Unionville!
Aurora Trails is our project located in beautiful Aurora – residents can look forward to the fresh air and space of rural living, without sacrificing proximity to amenities like restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Available in “classic” and “progressive” designs, our community of towns, detatched and semi-detatched homes will become another jewel in Aurora’s crown. We can’t wait to make you all at home.
New Years Resolutions are always easier said than done. A week into January, are any of us still keeping the gluten-free, vegan, quit-smoking, quit-drinking, gym-going, money saving promises we made on New Years Eve? Have you even cracked your first book club novel?
That’s why we love New Years resolutions for the home. We think making your home both fresh & inspiring, as well as clean, organized and safe is a resolution that’s often undervalued – plus, creating a space you’re proud of is a great jumping-off point to accomplishing other goals. We’ve all heard the same home resolutions: de-clutter, decrease energy usage, paint an accent wall. Those are all good goals, but we think these three unusual new years resolutions for the home will make more engaging and rewarding tasks.
It’s common in real estate to deal in terms of square feet. It seems like an easily comparable number, or an apples-to-apples comparison. Price per square foot becomes the metric of value. This industry standard doesn’t account for true value, though. After all, this number is all-inclusive – garages, attics, closets, nooks and crannies, hallways – of space that, while you pay for it, isn’t an important, usable, necessary part of your home.
