Upper Mount Pleasant: Brampton By The Numbers

45 minutes outside of the metropolis that is Toronto lies another bustling city – Brampton! In recent years, Brampton has seen huge growth. In fact, in several areas of Brampton, the population has doubled between 2011 and 2016. Currently the population comes in at 593,638, making Brampton the second fastest growing city in Canada. The ‘Flower City’, as it is sometimes known as, is an excellent place to live. Not only is there lots of growth in terms of population, but with growth comes more unique businesses, as well as facilities and recreation. These are just a few reasons we’re thrilled about our Upper Mount Plesasant development, a spectacular, new master-planned community just north of Bovaird and west of Chinguacousy, where you’ll feel right at home.

What We <3 About Brampton

If you’ve been paying attention to the news stemming from the 2016 Census, then you’ll know that Brampton is experiencing huge growth. The population has officially surpassed the half million mark, coming in at a whopping 593,638! That makes Brampton the ninth largest municipality in Canada and the fourth largest in Ontario. For its rich history, diverse culture, and unique shops but most of all, we love the people! Where to Go Snowshoeing In and Around Whitby

While many GTA-ers are probably rejoicing at the lack of snow we’ve gotten in the area, others aren’t so thrilled. For many, winter is their favourite time of year. Not only is it picturesque, but the winter specific activities you can take part in are heaps of fun. For those who like to frolic in the snow they have to wait all year long to hit the slopes to snowboard, ski, or toboggan. A fresh coat of snow is also necessary if you want to do some cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Thankfully we’re expected to get a little over the weekend, and to celebrate, we’re listing off some great trails to snowshoe on in and around the Whitby area.
