What to do this December

There’s no busier time than the holiday season. Not only are things wrapping up at work, but you’re also trying to plan your own holiday events, as well as attend as many others as you can! It’s a great time of year to touch base with your family, friends, co-workers, and community. Thankfully there’s always lots going on in the month of December to keep you (and those you’re inviting) busy and entertained. Our communities in Brampton and Whitby are bustling any time of year, but their calendars are particularly full this December. It seems like only yesterday the first tree in the neighbourhood turned bright orange, but with the temperatures steadily getting chillier and the white stuff having made an appearance already, it’s time we face facts – fall is ending. For many, fall is their favourite season, even trumping their love for the summer months. With pumpkin spiced lattes, beautiful autumnal colours, and crisp weather being plentiful, fall makes for the perfect backdrop for any photo and a great excuse to spend some time outdoors. Where to Take a Winter Day Trip from Brampton

With the temperatures seeming more consistently low, and snow flying a little more frequently, it’s safe to say that winter is sticking around a little while longer. According to Ontario’s weather forecasting groundhog, Wiarton Willie, spring should be coming early, but we’ve yet to see any evidence of this prediction. But we’re not complaining! The more winter, the more winter activities to fit into your calendar before the season is over. If you’re getting cabin fever staying in Brampton, why not take a day trip?
