Tour One of Beechwood’s Terrace Towns

It’s no secret that Brampton is one of our very favourite communities. From the local businesses to the people to the history of the city, there’s no shortage of things to fall in love with. This is why we’re so incredibly proud and happy each time we develop a new community in Brampton. We’ve been building your family’s dream homes since 1972, and have every intention of continuing to do so. What’s next? Our Beechwood community! Situated in a prime Brampton spot, right at Chinguacousy and Mayfield, Beechwood is in the centre of it all. To introduce you to the community, we thought we’d give you a little tour of the interiors. Enjoy!

With each new year there are always new trends. Whether it be in the world of design, fashion, or music – patterns start to form and help shape the culture of our lives that year. As we enter the year we’re seeing certain design trends that are beginning to stand out more than others. We did some research online to see what people were posting and came up with our own predictions for 2018. Take a look!

How to pull off Wabi-sabi design

If 2017 was the year of Hygge, the question remains: what design trend will reign supreme in 2018? Trend forecasters are already making their predictions for the coming year’s hottest style, and it’s possible you’ve never heard of it! That’s okay, neither had we. Does Wabi-sabi ring a bell? If not, we did some research to better understand this Japanese style of decor. The Wabi-sabi design philosophy is centred on the beauty of the imperfect. Think organic materials, flawed woods, hand-crafted, wrinkled linen, and ceramics. The trend is reminiscent of minimalism, but less pristine. In fact, it’s even a little messy. Here’s some inspiration to help you understand and embody the beautiful mess that is Wabi-sabi in your own home.

Our Favourite Serene Design Inspo

One of our all time favourite hobbies is scrolling through our Instagram feed to see what’s trending in the decor and design world. There never seems to be a shortage of inspiration and there’s always something for everyone. Fall 2017 has a handful of different design aesthetics making waves, but there’s one in particular that we can really get on board with – serene interiors. They say your home should be your sanctuary, and there’s no better way to achieve this calming vibe than with a serene design aesthetic. Keeping things light, soft, and airy are key to a perfectly serene interior. Here are some of our favourite looks to get you inspired.

An Inside Look at High Point

It’s no secret that Paradise is in the business of building homes, but there’s another side to it. We’re building homes that will fit you and your family’s life – your dreams, your hopes, your future. While it’s your decor, keepsakes, and personal touch that will make the home all your own, even our unfurnished homes are pretty fantastic all on their own. We work alongside in-the-know designers to create interiors that are luxurious, but at the same time warm and welcoming. We spoke with the interior designer at Turner Fleischer who worked on High Point’s amazing interiors. Here’s what she had to say.
