We don’t want to stress you out prematurely, but we wanted to give you a friendly reminder that there’s only one month of summer remaining. No need to panic, though! There’s still lots of time to make your summer even better than it has already been. Even if you’re not getting away this season, there’s lots going on right in town. From Saturday Night Movies to an Amazing Race event, there’s lots going on in Brampton this August. Here are some of the highlights. 

 

Old Love

Running from August 3rd to 5th at Brampton’s Rose Studio Theatre, The Foster Festival will be putting on a production of Old Love by Norm Foster. For all those who enjoy a good love story, this tale of rekindled romance will warm your heart.

 

Stomp ‘n’ Stampede

Coming up on Tuesday August 8th, the Stomp ‘n’ Stampede event will be taking over the Garden Square. Country music lovers can look forward to music from DJ Jonny Rivex, line dancing lead by Brampton’s own Double Trouble, and lots of other free and fun activities for the whole family.

Need some Saturday night plans that are both relaxing and fun? Head to the Garden Square for an outdoor movie night! Each Saturday you can look forward to two different shows at both 7pm and 9pm.

  • August 5: LEGO Batman Movie and Batman: The Dark Knight Movie
  • August 12: Trolls and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
  • August 19: Beauty and the Beast, both animated and live versions
  • August 26: SING and La La Land

 

Bramalea’s Amazing Race 2017

Arts Alive Festival
